- A hill: it is smaller than a mountain. It is sometimes rounded.
- A plain: it is a large area of flat land.
- A valley: it is a low area between two mountains.
- A plateau: it is a high area of flat land.

- The peak: the highest part.
- The slopes: the sides from the top to bottom
- The foot: the lowest part.
